“Mariano. Everything Possible. Selected Works (1940-1986)
Latin Art Core gallery @lac.contemporary @latinartcore is pleased to announce a solo exhibition of Cuban artist Mariano Rodríguez (Havana 1912 – 1990) opening May 26, 2023, in collaboration with the Mariano Rodríguez Foundation.
“Mariano. Everything Possible. Selected Works (1940 – 1986)” includes a selection of artworks from across five decades of the artist’s career, featuring paintings, watercolors, and drawings. While some of the pieces on display are widely known, others are rarely seen. This exhibition is an opportunity to meet the classics – some of the pieces are included in the most recent book Mariano One Hundred Masterpieces – and discover new aspects of the artist’s career.
This exhibition is homage to art and its capacity of reinvention and renewal beyond time.
