Latin Art Core gallery is proud to announce the opening of Manuel Mendive: With the new day the sun shines and leads us, a landmark solo exhibition by the internationally acclaimed Cuban artist Manuel Mendive. The exhibition will open on June 19 and marks a rare opportunity to view Mendive´s most recent series of works created between 2023 and 2025, alongside a curated selection of significant earlier pieces.
This exhibition explores Mendive´s ongoing engagement with spirituality, Yoruba cosmology, and the human relationship with nature and the divine. His new body of work, filled with luminous color, symbolic figures and gestures, and a poetic storytelling, reflects both a personal and universal meditation on renewal, guidance and wisdom.
The artist will be present for the opening reception, allowing guests to personally engage with one of the most important voices in contemporary Cuban art.
